Jessica Rodríguez, new coach of CF Damm Youth Women


Former professional player and coach with a long international career, Jessica Rodriguez comes to Damm after leading positions of responsibility in football development in academies and as an elite coach in Japan, China and Denmark. In this last adventure, as coach of the Danish B93, she wins the second division championship and is promoted to the first.

His last two experiences in Spain were as the first coach of the Vallecano Ray in the first division and as sporting director and coach of the Sabadell Women’s Youth Preferred. As a footballer, the midfielder competed at the top tier for three years at Espanyol and twelve at Sant Gabriel.

“Defending this shield is a pride and a privilege,” said Jessica Rodríguez. “CF Damm is a brutal club with a very big projection. For the players and the training methodology, Damm is for me the top 3 in grassroots women’s football in Spain. I really want to put on my boots and start training. My goal is for the team to be 100% every day.”

She will be joined on the bench by Judith Pérez, who returns home after serving as goalkeeper and captain of CF Damm in the 2015/16 season. The young woman from Badalona, ​​who arrived at the club one day after playing nine years at Espanyol, has completed her academic training in the United States. At the University of Montevallo, she majored in business administration and management and played football for four years, winning the conference ring.

Pérez graduated with an MBA in Business Administration from Cumberland University, where for two seasons she also served as a varsity assistant coach and goalie coach. Six years later, she returned to the Club to bring her international background to the bench of the Cervecero Women’s Youth.

“I’m very lucky to be able to go home,” said Judith Pérez. “I take with me everything I have learned during these years of absence and I am very happy to have the opportunity to put it into practice at Damm and to make this team a family. I n couldn’t have picked a better place.”
